High-End Computing with K42
Overview
The High-End Computing with K42 project will extend the K42 research operating system, http://www.research.ibm.com/K42/, to clusters. K42's underlying flexibility allows us to make fundamental changes to K42's policies, interfaces, and implementation to add functions, improve the user experience, and improve application performance. We are pursuing this strategy by implementing changes motivated by real HEC applications and users. The K42 HEC work consists of three major areas:
