Running K42
K42 development is currently split into a stable branch and a development branch.
Platforms supported by the stable branch:
- Apple G5 xserve
- IBM 270
- IBM S85
- systemsim-gpul
Platforms supported by the development branch:
- systemsim-gpul (in Maple-D configuration)
- IBM JS20 blade (partially supported, work in progress)
If you are at the Watson site, first figure out which machine in the pool is available to you:
cd powerpc/fullDeb/os hwconsole -s
Pick a machine from the list that results, and reboot it using:
k42console -m <machine> -R
